He is an Indian businessman par excellence with his fingers in many a successful venture. He started off his career as a sailor in the merchant navy but with his strong business acumen and vision, he forayed into the world of healthcare in the early 1990s. Having realised the importance of good health, he proceeded to set up the Badr Al Samaa hospitals.

Having successfully set up 16 hospitals and polyclinics across the GCC countries under this banner, he ventured out into other businesses including real estate, education, construction, hospitality and organised retailing. His gifts of goal-directed leadership skills have also seen him setup educational institutions in India, but without the intention of generating wealth.
